As a multi-faceted designer, my work is deeply informed by a lifelong passion for history, research, and creating environments that resonate with meaning and purpose. My 20+ years in customer service have sharpened my ability to connect with people, anticipate their needs, and quickly identify solutions—even with limited information. These skills translate seamlessly into design, enabling me to craft user experiences that are both intuitive and impactful.
My time in the life insurance industry honed my expertise in interpreting complex regulations and applying standards with precision. This detail-driven perspective ensures my designs are not only creative but also structured and compliant with user and contextual requirements.
In education, I developed an aptitude for multi-tasking and learned to dig beneath surface requests to identify underlying needs. This skill is central to my creative process, allowing me to design solutions that go beyond expectations. My years in teaching also reinforced my love of storytelling and cultivating environments rich in history—whether through curriculum development, research, or design that brings historical contexts to life.
I am passionate about using design as a tool to immerse users in experiences steeped in meaning, enriched by research, and tailored to their needs. Whether I’m building a narrative, crafting an intuitive interface, or designing spaces that tell a story, my work reflects a balance of creativity, strategy, and empathy.
